5th Place Steamboat PGS
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
I finished 5th yesterday at the Steamboat Race to the Cup PGS race. I made some costly errors in the quarterfinals against my friend Philip Berube that cost me a possible podium. You must be consistent in parallel racing. It’s hard to come back from big mistakes. It was a fun race though, a steep challenging piste and perfect railable snow. It was a good warm-up for next week’s World Champs in Arosa, Switzerland. After the race yesterday I headed to the Strawberry Hot Springs outside Steamboat. It’s one of the best commerical hotsprings I’ve visited. What a great way to recover from a cold day of racing. I was spent driving home to Aspen after soaking for three hours. I’m back home in Aspen now. Getting ready to head to Highlands to ride pow. I’m training here this week to get ready for Arosa.
Check out the trailer for our new Ride of Your Life Documentary project. It’s a feature film we’ve been working on the past year, promoting life-saving organ donation and the fact that transplants work. Hope you like it. Enjoy the pics from yesterday’s race in Steamboat. Thanks for your support. Talk to ya from Word’s next week.
