Wakeskating Donor Awareness
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
I’ve been busy the past week training in Oregon and touring the East Coast, sharing my message of donor awareness and quality of life through transplantation. I spent last weekend at Prineville Resevoir in Central Oregon wakeskating and camping with Missy and our buddies. All last week I was on the road back East, visiting Emory Transplant Center in Atlanta and Westchester Medical in New York. It was hot and humid, but a successful trip. I got to spend a couple days in the Big Apple touring the city and taking in a show. I put on my running shoes and went for a full-on power tour. Check out the pics below from my marathon walk. Thursday night I took in the Broadway performance, ‘Sweet Charity.’ It was awesome. I had a chance to hook up with my trainer and close friend Carlon Colker in Greenwhich, CT over the weekend for a brutal workout and eat-a-thon. Saturday I attended the Westchester Medical Transplant pick-nick celebrating the gift of life with the transplant team, recipients and donors. The just completed Children’s Hospital there is unbeliveable.I’m training in Sistes all week. We’re headed to Suttle Lake outside Sisters Wednesday for some BBQ’ing and wakeboarding for Missy’s birthday. This weekend I’m in LA with Astellas visiting USC Transplant. Enjoy the photos below from my last week’s adventures. I’m getting organized to head South to Chile in August for three weeks of on-snow training with my team! Enjoy your summer. Talk to ya soon.
