Soelden World Cup This Weekend!

I’m training this week with my team in Kaunertal, Austria getting ready for the FIS World Cup PGS this weekend in Soelden, Austria. I’m riding fast and ready to rip. The last two days of training on the glacier have been epic. This weekend will be our first parallel giant slalom race of the season, the Olympic discipline and my specialty. Our first World Cup event was last weekend in Landgraaf, Netherlands. It was an indoor slalom event. I didn’t ride as fast as I would’ve liked; I ended up twentieth. I was kind of bummed, but frankly my slalom isn’t on par right now with my giant slalom, so I’m not that disappointed. I pretty much rode like I was twentieth in slalom. My teammate Adam Smith podiumed, so I was stoked for him. I’m looking forward to giant slalom this weekend. We enjoyed a couple days off of carting and surfing en route from Holland to Austria. We stopped at the Michael Shumacher Carting Center. Let’s just say I wasn’t the fastest, but had the most fun. Saturday we did some surfing near Munich at a standing wave. It was so much fun. I couldn’t get enough of it. After every wipeout, I was back on my feet running to the top of the wave for another session. Check out the photos from the past week in Europe. I’m training in Kaunertal again tomorrow, then heading to Soelden to get ready for this weekend. Think fast. I’m ready for a great start to the season. Best wishes. I’ll keep ya posted!CKCK & Warren ripping the standing Wave, enjoying a day off in Germany
