Peak Vision Grand Junction

Missy and I had a fun trip to Grand Junction, CO last weekend where I spoke Saturday night at the Western Council of Colorado Boy Scout’s Peak Vision Gala at the Grand Junction Conference Center. It was great event and a good opportunity to share the donation message. My family joined me to support my talk and help host our CKF/Donor Dudes booth. I drove over Saturday morning with Missy and rode my mountain bike on the Lunch Loops near the Colorado Monument outside Junction. While the weather was nasty in Aspen it was shorts and tees in the desert. Every time I return to ride the Lunch Loops it gets better. I rode a new loop called the Gunny Loop which was awesome. The parking lot was full, but I hardly saw anyone on the trail. The new terrain park near the parking area is rad. I’m sure I’ll head back there to ride in the weeks ahead as winter arrives in Aspen. Sunday Missy and I hiked the Lower Monument Trail in the Colorado National Monument. That’s a great hike.
Tonight I spoke at the Promise of Hope Lecture series sponsored by the Foundation of First Health in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The weather is beautiful here as well. I’m sharing our new CKF video program with local high schools in the days ahead. Tomorrow I’m playing golf on the famous National Course, should be fun. Thanks for checking in. Enjoy!
