Mountain Biking Moab
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
I was in Moab last weekend with a group of friends from Aspen. The weather was perfect, seventy degrees all weekend. It was probably the last mountain bike trip of the season and it was worth it. I rode Gold Bar Friday with about twenty Aspenites. I broke my chain twice. Saturday we did Hunter Canyon to Pritchett Arch and down Pritchett Canyon. My friends Rob and Bill both had good wipeouts. Sunday I rode the Cedar Mountain Loops above Sovereign Trail, love the view from the top of Cedar Mtn. Monday Erk Scarvan and I braved hurricane winds to ride Flat Pass. My butt was wrecked after four straight day of riding. It was a fun trip to the desert before winter arrived in Colorado.
We got more snow this weekend. I rode Loveland this morning. it was packed, but fun to be back on-snow shredding again! It was in the teens this morning when I left Aspen. Winter is on the way! Enjoy your weekend. I’m redoing my personal site, so stay tuned for a new look. Thanks for checking in!
