Michigan Visit

I was in Michigan last week visiting Camp Mishitanki, a transplant kids camp sponsored by University of Michigan. The camp took place in Oscoda, MI in North Eastern Michigan. It was awesome recreating with the kids and sharing my message of “Dreaming big” and “Never giving up” with them. I was in Detroit for the weekend representing Saturn’s National Donor Day at the Woodward Dream Cruise, the largest classic car ralley in the country. It was unreal. I was cruising in the new Saturn Sky, loving it! We talked donation at the Saturn corner on Woodward and Maple and checked out all of the cars. You’ve never seen so many sweet rides. There was everything imaginable.I’ve been trainng and playing hard the past weeks. I had great training at Mt. Hood last weekend. I had a spectacular wipeout last Saturday and tweaked my foot. I’ve gotta chill for a couple weeks and heal up. I was supposed to head to Chile this week for training, but have postponed my trip a few weeks until my foot is 100%. I’m recovering fast and hoping to be back on-snow in a few weeks. In the meantime bridezilla’s got me running around on wedding duty for our Sept. 16th party. I’ll be training and getting ready to get back on-snow as soon as my foot is ready. Enjoy the pics from the past months activities. Thanks for checking in. Enjoy your summer.
