Maui Surf 2004
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
I stopped in Maui for a few days of surf on the way home from Japan. I’m here surfing and having fun with my buddies from the World Cup. We’ve got an all-time crew. We’re having so much fun. We had a week off from competing between Japan World Cup last week and next weekend’s FIS US World Cup at Mt. Bachelor, OR, so we all decided to stop over in Maui for a week of surf. The waves have been great. I’ve been surfing two sessions a day. Today got pretty big. It’s supposed to grow to twenty-five plus tomorrow on North Shore. It was pouring tonight. Hopefully it will let up tom. We checked out Jaws this afernoon. Pretty sick! I’m surfing the next two days and then heading to Oregon to train for four days in preparation for next WC there. I’m stoked on my PGS riding in Japan. I’d like to improve on my 4th in Japan and find the podium at only US World Cup this year. I want to finish strong in last two World Cups. My Maui surf break will have me fresh and ready to rip. Enjoy the pics. from Maui. Thanks for checking in!CK
