Makomanai, Japan FIS World Cup 2004

I’m so stoked. I had a great day of racing. It was so much fun. Happy to be back in there. It was one of the nicest days of racing I’ve ever had in Japan as far as the conditions. It was full on bluebird and the snow was epic. I had some great races today. I defeated Jacey Jay in the first round and advanced in my quarterfinal against Andy Prommenger from Austria. I railed out of the course in my first run semi against Bozzetto, which put me into small final with Biveson. After two close races he got me by three tenths. I was a little disappointed not to climb onto the podium, but stoked to be riding fast and havin’ fun. My teammate Adam Smith qualified fast, but exited in first round to finish tenth. Warren just missed the final in eighteenth. Michelle Gargone was also fourth in the Women’s final.Slalom tomorrow. It’s another early morning, so I’m hittin’ the hay. Would love to have another sick day tomorrow. Weather should hold out, but then again from my previous experiences over here it changes every five minutes. Thanks for checking in. I’ll let ya know how it goes down tomorrow.CK
