Indonesia 2005

I just returned home from the best surf trip of my life. Sick waves, a few snapped boards and some bounces off the reef, but I survived, fortunatley not snapping myself, and comming home in one piece. It was an incredible adventure. We surfed our brains out for three weeks straight. I started the trip in Bali with Missy and our friends for a week before heading to the Mentawai Islands off W. Sumatra for eleven days aboard the Bintang, a 110 ft. ocean going yacht with seven other buddies and four crew. I met some super cool new friends and surfed the best waves of my life. I put together a few image highlights below. Enjoy!I was back on-snow at Copper Mtn., CO testing my new boards over Memorial Day weekend. What a shock after surfing last three weeks. My snowboard felt a little wacky the first few runs, but I rememberd how soon enough and am confident the surf was the best cross-training in the world for me. I’m feeling good and fired up for our team on-snow camp starting Sunday at Copper. Stoked Independance Pass is open so I can rally from home. Weather’s a little wet here in Aspen now. I’m freezing. Hopefully summer weather will return soon. Have a great weekend. Thanks for checkin’ in.CKThe Bintang, our home for eleven days in the Mentawais
