Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday. I have so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. My bro’s and their families are in Aspen to celebrate with us. Today I played in the annual Turkey bowl football game at Wagner field in downtown Aspen. The weather has been sunny and warm the past week, so the field wasn’t the frozen, ankle snapper tundra of past years. It was the mud bowl this year. It was so much fun. I finally won a turkey bowl. No one got hurt and it was a fun game. I’m going to be so sore tomorrow.
I finished third at the Copper Cup PGS Monday, my first podium of the season. I was riding solid most of the day. After winning the first run of the semi-finals I had a sloppy second run that cost me advancing to the finals. I wanted to win badly and to continue my seven year winning streak at Copper, but just came up short. I’m always happy to climb onto the podium and especially this year after changing gear and bouncing back from an early season injury. Enjoy the pics from today’s turkey bowl and Copper. Happy Thanksgiving. I’ll be in Aspen this weekend spreading the word about our Dec. 2nd. Storm the Stars uphill race and helping with announcing duties for the FIS Women’s Ski World Cup Races on Aspen Mtn. beginning Saturday. Hope to see you there. Thanks for checking in.
