Happy Halloween

I was in Moab last weekned enjoying a final trip to the desert for some mountain biking. I got a new Specialized Enduro this summer and was jonesing to ride it around Moab. It was therapeutic being in shorts and a t-shirt hammering on my bike one last time before winter. My buddy Andrew got some sick shots. Check ‘em out below.
We hosted hundreds of trick-or-treaters last night at our Aspen home. Our neighborhood has become the Halloween Mecca for kids. We purchased one hundred dollars in candy and ran out by Nine O’clock. It was insane how much traffic we had. Our neighbors went off with elaborate Halloween decorations covering their entire yards and homes. We’ve gotta seriously step it up next year. After the barrage of costumed ankle biters at our doorstep we dressed up ourselves and hit the town. Halloween in Aspen is like no where else on the planet. It’s a full-on adult holiday. Aspenites don’t mess around with their costumes. People spend months preparing their get ups. It’s pretty amazing. I pulled off another eleventh hour costume rally thanks to my friend Kenton. I went as a pimp and Missy was an ’80’s groupie. Check out the pictures from a fun night on the town last night.
I’m on the road for a couple days speaking in Portland, OR at OR Health Sciences University tomorrow. I return home to Colorado this weekend for the Denver Ski/Board Expo at the Convention Center. Come say hi if you’re in town. I’m planning to be back on-snow next week in Summit County freeriding and getting ready to train again beginning Nov. 12th. Enjoy the photos from Moab and Halloween. Thanks for checking in. Our new Summit for Life website went live last week. Have a look! It’s going to be a fun event for a great cause. Come join us! Talk to ya soon,
