FIS World Cup Landgraaf

Another World Cup snowboarding season begins. I’m in Landgraaf, Netherlands training and preparing for the World Cup opener tomorrow, Friday Oct. 13th. I’m riding well and excited to kick off the competitive season. I broke my ankle eight weeks ago in a training crash at Mt. Hood. It is healed and ready to go, just in time. I worked hard the past months to be ready and I made it! Thanks to Dr. Carlsen in Bend, Oregon and Gary and Suzi at Therapeutic Associates in Sisters, Oregon. It’s so much fun being back on-snow, doing what I love. I’ve had good training the past days here in Landgraaf and am looking forward to a fun race tomorrow. I’m going to go out and do my best and have fun. I love my new boards. I had great training at Mt. Hood in September that really helped me get ready for the season. I had to rearrange my training a little with my injury, but it all worked out. Thanks for checkin’ in. I’ll keep ya posted from the World Cup Slalom tomorrow here in Landgraaf. I will travel this weekend to Soelden, Austria to train for next weekend’s FIS World Cup PGS. Enjoy the photos from Mt. Hood training session.
