Copper Cup NorAm

I had a great training camp at Copper Mtn. the past ten days. I’m having a lot of fun and riding fast. We had a NorAm GS and SL last week. It was a tough field with half the World Cup top seed present. I had a big lead in the GS quarterfinals, but fell a few gates from the finish on my second run and ended up seventh. I’m a little bummed with the result, but stoked on my riding and fitness. I couldn’t hold on in my second slalom qualification run, making for a short day.
Last Friday I did interviews in Denver on FOX and NBC promoting organ donation and our upcoming Aspen Summit for Life event Dec. 6th. We are ready for a great donor awareness celebration! I anticipate five hundred participants. Please visitwww.summitforlife.org to register and support Chris Klug Foundation. I’ll be home in Aspen the next two weeks preparing for S4L and training hard. Next weekend I’m helping out with announcing duties for the Aspen Women’s Ski World Cup Nov. 29th and 30th on Aspen Mtn. Snow on the way late next week, just in time for opening day on Thanksgiving. I travel to Italy next for a World Cup PGS in Limone Piemonte Dec. 14th. Happy Thanksgiving!
