Copper Continental Cup PGS Winner

We loaded the lift so early this moring to race I was riding up under the stars, way before sunrise. It was a beautiful morning. It turned out to be a beautiful day for me as well at the Continental Cup Parallel Giant Slalom held at Copper Mountain, Colorado. Sick snow conditions and classic Colorado Blue bird, it was an epic day of racing. I had so much fun today. When I’m having that much fun I usually do well. I raced my friend Richard Richardson, Silver Medalist from SLC ‘02, in the final, beating him for the win. I rode fast and consistent all day. I just felt great today. I trained hard all week and dialed in my gear for today’s race. It’s a good time to be riding fast and feeling good as we get ready to head off on a three week stint of World Cup and King of the Mountain races around the globe following Thanksgiving. I’m ready to rip it up! I included a shot of some of my fellow racers from today below.
Below are some shots from last Sunday’s Broncos-Chargers game we attended at Mile High. How about the classic Broncos heads. I’m thinking of sporting mine in tomorrow’s slalom race. We race an early one again tomorrow. I’d like to do well again! Enjoy the pics. I’ll keep ya posted on tom.’s slalom. Thanks for stopping in! Hope you like the new eComm site www.klugriding.com. It’s off to a great start! Talk to ya soon.CK
