Copper Camp Wraps Up
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
Friday I wrapped up a month long training camp at Copper Mtn. in Summit County. I had an awesome training session with my AST Coaches and Teammates. We worked hard together and made great progress in our preparation for the World Cup races ahead. I’m stoked to be back home in Aspen recovering this weekend. The Five O’Clock morning wake up call catches up to you. I enjoyed a fun hike up High Alpine at Snowmass yesterday with my friends. We found some fun powder turns. There’s about two feet of fresh snow on top left over from last weekend’s big dump.
I’m looking forward to enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with my family this week in Aspen. Aspen Mountain opens on Wednesday. I’ll probably get out freeriding this week. This weekend I’m joining my friend Uncle E in announcing the Women’s Ski World Cup Giant Slalom and Slalom Races on Aspen Mtn. I’ll be busy doing my homework all week, making sure I don’t butcher any of the difficult European names, and have lots to talk about. I regret that I probably will be a spectator in the famous Thanksgiving Day Turkey Bowl football game this year. Gotta stay healthy! CKF is working hard to get ready for our 4th Annual Aspen Summit for Life 2009 on Dec. 12th. Registration activity is unbelievable this year. If you plan to join us make sure you sign up soon, as I believe the event will fill up. I’m so excited for a great donor awareness celebration. I hope you will join us! Happy Thanksgiving!
