Back on-Snow!

I celebrated my comeback from six weeks of healing from collarbone surgery with a two-day hut trip adventure on my split-board. I headed out to the Taggert Hut, outside of Aspen, CO, with my friends Jon and Mike for a couple of days of hiking and riding. It was an awesome journey. Jon cleaned up in the all night poker match, taking home all the jelly beans. Tuesday we explored the terrain above the hut and got some nice pow turns. I was so spent after skinning all day and then treking five miles back to the car. Fortunately it was mostly down hill on the way home. It’s great to be back on my board. Dr. Pevny gave me the go ahead to ride mellow. He doesn’t want me eating it or lifting weights heavy for another week; I’m feeling great and stoked to be back. I’ll be riding all spring. Enjoy the pics from our hut trip. Hope to see you at my 5th annual spring snowboard camp at Buttermilk Mtn. April 1-3. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!CKJon and CK catching our breath on top with Castle Peak in the backgroud
