4th Place FIS World Cup

I finished fourth in yesterday’s FIS World Cup in San Vigilio, Kronplatz, Italy. It was on the same hill that I won four years ago just six months after my transplant. I was hoping to do the same yesterday, but didn’t ride my best in the semi-finals and finals. I am pleased with a solid performance, but of course wanted to climb onto the podium. With my strong finishes in October on the World Cup and yesterday’s fourth I’m seventh overall, a good start to the season. Lots of racing ahead. I want to keep improving and find the podium lots! My teammate Michelle Gargone was also fourth. She and I seem to often follow eachother in PGS? Adam Smith was fifteenth.I’m planning to take the next few days off and rest my sore back; it’s still tweaked from when I hurt it training a week ago in Aspen and needs a break. I was talking with some of my teammates about a possible excursion to Venice for a day? I might be racing in some FIS races next weekend in Austria. The next World Cup is a slalom Dec. 17th in Bad Gastein, Austria.Check out the OLN “Fearless†Show that I did wth my friends and family. It airs tomorrow night at 1 AM, Monday 1 PM and again Christmas Day at 6 PM and day after at 10 PM. Hope you enjoy it. I haven’t seen it yet, but heard it came out pretty cool. Thanks for stopping by. Ciao,CKCK heelside turn, San Vigilio World Cup PGS 2004. Photo courtesy FIS Media.
